Intrigued, I asked her to elaborate, and this was her response:
"Pack in the protein, lift heavy, and don't worry about "bulking up" or "toning" respectively. As a woman, there is NO SUCH THING AS TONING. Unless you are genetically predisposed to Hulk-like proportions or "juicing" (read: shooting anabolic steroids), lifting will be nothing but beneficial. I'll be taking her advice and lifting heavy, hoping to giving "lifting like a girl" a new meaning. I'll post my workouts here, and pictures of my soon-to-be-ripped muscles.
