Lift like a dude!"

Intrigued, I asked her to elaborate, and this was her response:

"Pack in the protein, lift heavy, and don't worry about "bulking up" or "toning" respectively. As a woman, there is NO SUCH THING AS TONING. Unless you are genetically predisposed to Hulk-like proportions or "juicing" (read: shooting anabolic steroids), lifting will be nothing but beneficial. Lifting weights inhibits joint problems and osteoporosis. It burns calories longer and faster, it creates svelt form and posture. The benefits are endless." - AmoryBlain, ActiveLowCarber Forum

I'll be taking her advice and lifting heavy, hoping to giving "lifting like a girl" a new meaning. I'll post my workouts here, and pictures of my soon-to-be-ripped muscles.
